This is a leather jacket with reflective lettering on the back that reads Polizei on the back. Size is around about L-XL but unfortunately there is absolutely no labeling on the jacket anywhere so I can't confirm the sizes.

​​​​​​From the information that I have found online (through pictures and research) it appears that these jackets were worn by two areas of the German Police. Those being the motorbike patrol units / some highway patrol units and GSG9. The highway patrol units seemed to have worn their region specific Polizei patch on the left arm while GSG9 wore the BundesPolizei patch on the arm. As such I have found a BundesPolizei patch with hook side backing that could be attached to the jacket with a little bit of sewing.

Without going into too much detail the chap that gave me the jacket has often alluded to having been part of GSG9 and he is certainly a trustworthy type.
