Only used a couple of times back when I had an SVD. Kept it as was planning to get a VSS Vintorez but never did so time to move it on.
A very nice quality scope that everything feels quality tight as it should. Illuminates via the flick switch, as shown in image. Uses a AA battery to power it.
Comes with the rubber eye piece and an extendable sun-shade on the front end. This also helps protect the scope from incoming BBs.
Nice and precise adjustments to the windage and elevation via the dials which have caps to protect them once adjustments have been made.
There are plenty of 4x PSO scopes out there but not some many of these more versatile 3-9x versions.
