NOTE: Will NOT be including the Bakelite style pistol grip! Instead it will have a wooden pistol grip. I broke the grip on a different gun that was a similar fakealite style and I love that gun. And I hate this gun. So I stole the RK-15's pistol grip and swapped it for a wooden grip i had laying around. The wooden grip is a close match in colour to the forward dong handguard, not perfect but close. I'll add a picture of this tomorrow once I'm back home.

ALSO NOTE: It has an APS gearbox and I believe a standard G&G Motor. The original DBoys gearbox had its motor wires glued on and the wire pulled apart from the spade connectors. Plus it was a DBoys gearbox so I've probably done the gun a favour by replacing it.

Ordered this from gunfire not that long ago since everywhere that was selling the CYMA version was out of stock and had no word of getting them back in stock.
Then lo and behold the moment this DBoys version is delivered the CYMA one is back in stock and I'd much rather have that.

Nothing inherently wrong with this gun but its a DBoys so firstly the stock hop-up chamber is plastic - had I been keeping this I'd have definitely upgraded it. Secondly the rear sight and stock are a bit loose and was like this out the box .Not sure if the wobbly stock is standard for these kind of wire stocks. Its not awful and isn't anywhere near as jarring as say a wobbly buffer tube stock but its worth bearing in mind.

And thirdly the mag compatibility is horrendous. The gun comes with one high cap, and you can buy DBoys branded AK high-caps no problem at all, but getting DBoys mid-caps here in the UK is like rocking horse shit and I can't stand rattling high cap mags myself. If you prefer highcaps or don't mind sanding down your own other brand of mid-caps to fit then it shouldn't be much of an obstacle. But if you're a little bitch like me and don't like the thought of violating a mag just for it to fit one specific gun then look elsewhere.
