This guy tried to scam me, avoid at all cost. Normal mode for the scam is to offer a trade, and the item never turns up.

SCAMMER. do not trust him. Did a swap deal with him 2 weeks ago now. I sent off my items to him promptly along with tracking and proof of postage. Hes recieved my items 2 days after. Im still waiting 2 weeks later and nothing but poor exuses. I have done some homework on another forum and turns out hes a notorious scammer whos been doing this for some years now under different usernames. I have asked him for my items to be returned to me. But cant imagine i will see them again. Keep clear from steve glennie. Worst thing is i believed him.
